Suzanne Clayton has been in the Nail and Beauty Industry for 28 years having worked in salons and also had her own Home salons and High street salons. During her time in the industry Suzanne has gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise primarily in the Nail Industry.

Suzanne’s accomplishments include

▪️Leading a nail team at Ibiza Fashion Festival

▪️Finalist 23/24/25 Scratch awards Services to the Nail Industry

▪️Written for Trade magazines

▪️Created nails for magazine photo shoots including a front cover

In 2019 Suzanne created NTA to help support Nail techs and salons that were having allergic reactions to very specific products and the brands not helping. She has been met in the industry with hostility, hate campaigns and brick walls trying to find out why this was happening and how to prevent it from happening to more. The group today has become so much more than allergic reactions, it’s a support network for every day salon and business problems. With a huge percentage of the industry working alone the support and education in the group is enormous.

In 2023 Suzanne played a pivotal role in bringing the allergic reaction story to be featured on BBC Breakfast, across the BBC news and radio, and was subsequently filmed for BBC Morning live in 2024. 

Nail Tech Awareness has become a valuable platform for Qualified Nail Techs, offering support on salon issues, providing answers to every day salon issues, and its original purpose to help those affected by allergic reactions happening on an unprecedented scale. Join this empowering community of professionals to stay informed on allergic reactions, and inspired in the world of Nail care, Gel nails and Builder gels. Together, let's elevate the industry and celebrate the artistry of nail technicians! We have had a group for Nail Techs and a clients group for a while but now it’s time for a Membership group to help techs build Confidence and better Businesses  to help give that work life balance.
